The Drums of War are Beating...
Take a look back at history and you'll find that in many cases when countries faced difficult economic times their leaders found war a very attractive option. Many wars have been fought as a direct result of economic problems. War seems an ideal solution in such cases because it provides a number of extremely attractive remedies.
Israel is itching to attack Iran in an effort to destroy the new Iranian nuclear weapons project. If the do attack I predict that they'll suffer as a result. Iran has unknown quantities of sophisticated Chinese made medium distance missiles capable of hitting Israeli cities. Russia has sworn to protect Iran. Widespread election fraud was witnessed during the most recent Russian elections and as a result Russian leader Vladimir Putin in under heavy pressure to resign. But he's not the kind of guy who will quickly surrender and slink off to some foreign refuge. Extremely unusual massive demonstrations in Moscow are openly demanding Putin leave the country. New signs say "Putin Out!". Others are asking a new question - "What would Russia be like without Putin?" From Putin's viewpoint a war would be an ideal way to quiet the growing dissent and expand Putin's grasp of the nation. The U.S. is pulling it's troops out of Iraq. But that doesn't mean we're about to abandon the Iraqi oil fields. Not by a long shot! The U.S. has every intention of keeping full and complete control of the Iraqi oil fields - the second most productive in the entire world. While our troops are leaving, they're being replaced with armies of private civilian types. We'll still be in complete and total control of the country despite the departure of our military muscle. Keep in mind that those oil fields are very close to Iranian territory - a fact not lost on the Iranians. If they could grab those fields their influence and wealth would be greatly increased. In any conflict they'll be looking for an opportunity to move in. The Pakistani government has asked the Pentagon to make up invasion plans that could be enacted if radical Islamic elements inside Pakistan were to seize control of any of their 16 nuclear weapon sites. Pakistani terrorists have vowed to launch nuclear missiles at Israel as soon as they could gain control of the sites so our marines are going to have to move fast to prevent mass slaughter. The revolution in Egypt has been applauded worldwide as a movement toward peace and security in the Middle East but that's not how things are shaking out. Though the Mubarak regime was a vicious and dictatorial one that willingly tortured it's own citizens (and the citizens of other countries provided by the CIA), it wasn't motivated to attack Israel but instead backed the various Middle East peace plans that U.S. presidents come up with from time to time. But now the lid is off. Now there are cries coming from the Egyptian people calling for war with Israel. The new more Islamic oriented political parties that appear poised to assume control may find war a very appealing option. Meanwhile the U.S. economy is languishing. Though the stimulus programs have prevented a complete meltdown into a full-fledged economic depression, job creation is far too slow. A world war right now would help Obama boost the economy and also help assure that he'll be reelected in November 2012. I don't believe Obama is a war monger but I do know for a fact that war is obscenely profitable for the military contractors and pressure on Obama is mounting. Eisenhower warned us in his last speech as president that the Military Industrial Complex is the biggest threat to our liberty. Have we forgotten his warning? If a third world war does occur during the first few months of 2012, what remains of our freedom will vanish into the mist of war hysteria. If you think the so-called patriot act damaged your liberties - wait until you see the legislation that follows on the heels of any new declaration of war. Kiss your freedom and your constitution goodbye. The next election may be our last. Survive and thrive during the coming bad times. Get the facts - there's no other guide like it. Order today!
